Folks whose lives and livelihoods will be negatively impacted by the proposed widening of the I-70 Mountain Corridor would like to share some of our concerns with you on the following pages.
The most obvious impact will be to the commute to mountain areas you use for hiking, picnicking, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding… and the list goes on. Our evaluation of the CDOT PEIS, and other resources, leads us to believe that the proposed widening will do little to alleviate the current problem, and will only make it worse for the next 20 years.
Less obvious negative impacts include those to local economies, metro-Denver water quality, historical and cultural sites, decreased traffic safety and more. Please take a few minutes to find out the TRUTH about the I-70 Mountain Corridor Project.
